Blue Pacific Swansea

I stayed at Blue Pacific Swansea in Room 5 over Friday and Saturday night (14 and 15 April 2017). Unfortunately the room had bed bugs - through the night I ended up feeling very itchy so went to the bathroom to look in the mirror to find little red spots all over my arms and shoulders. On Sunday morning my suspicions were confirmed when my friend actually found one of the bed bugs crawling around her bed!! We killed it and this dead bed bug was brought to the hotel reception to let them know.

All the bites that I got swelled up and it is exceedingly itchy and horrific. Sometimes I feel so itchy I want to cry! I counted and have approximately 90 bites, predominantly on my arms, shoulders, neck and face, then a few on my back, stomach and feet/legs. It's really quite horrible and stressful an experience and of course there is the fear that I might have transported the bed bugs to my house. I spent hours and hours of time pouring hot water over my belongings, putting them in the washing machine on hot cycle, putting them through the dryer. I really wouldn't wish this experience on anyone, so hopefully the situation has been rectified and the room fumigated.
